Charles “Jack” Jethro Miller, age 60, passed away at his home in Wewoka, Oklahoma on September 8, 2020.

Charles was born June 24, 1960 in Wewoka to parents Joseph Calvin Miller, Sr. and Dorothy Mae (Stephens) Miller.

He attended Butner Schools and graduated from Butner High School.

Charles served his country in the United States Navy.

He was employed at Nobletown School as a custodian for 15 years and Stepco Steel as a welder for 35 years.

Charles is survived by his mother, Dorothy Mae Miller, his brothers, Joseph C. Miller, Jr. of Wetumka, Oklahoma, Roland M. Miller of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Weldon L. Miller of Wewoka, Oklahoma and Ray C. Blanton of Wewoka, Oklahoma and his sister, Drusilla B. James of Wewoka, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph C. Miller, Sr., grandfathers, Melvin Miller and Claud Stephens, Sr. and grandmothers, Dora Mae Stephens and Betty MacNac.

The funeral service for Charles will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at the Ethiopia Reform Coptic Church of Christ in Wewoka, Oklahoma with Arch. Deacon Roy M. Stephens. Burial will follow at Machpelah Cemetery in Wewoka.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
