Cecil Ray Degge passed away Monday, December 14th, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.

Cecil was born July 28th, 1932 in Wewoka to Charlie Ray Degge and Opal Salmans Degge.

He attended Sam’s school and later joined the United States Navy and served during the Korean War.

Cecil married Alvenia Blackburn on December 15, 1956 in Wewoka.

Cecil worked for ODOT, Seminole County and Central Maintenance.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his family and friends.

Cecil is preceded in death by his parents, wife Alvenia, brother, Billy Degge, sister, Joyce Boyd and grandson in law, Jefferey Albert Seeley.

He is survived by his daughter’s, Debbie and Bryan Smith of Wewoka and Donna and Robert Babb of Holdenville, siblings, Pat Davis of Wewoka, Elaine Carter of Texas and Faye Salee of Arkansas, grandchildren, Wendy Long, Cindy Scott, Derrick Long, Kimberly Andrews and Jesse Babb, great grandchildren, Micah, Trinity, Eli, Jeb, Wyatt, Leilani, Treven, Jaxi, Mariah, Kamdyn and one on the way.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday December 17, 2020 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Joshua Degge, Joseph Degge, Ricky Davis, Terry Davis, Jerry Taylor and Eugene Blackburn.

Honorary Pallbearers are Bryan Smith, Robert Babb, Anthony Scott, Curtis Andrews and Derrick Long.

Services are under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Wewoka, OK.
