Carl Eugene “Bo” Yancey was born on March 27th,1932 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Lon and Lillie Yancey.

He passed from this life on March 12th, 2020.

He attended Murrell, Carr City and Pleasant Grove Schools.

He completed his high school diploma when he returneqfrom serving with the 45th Division during the Korean War.

Upon his return he married the love of his life Winnie Ruth Jackson on July 5th, 1952.

They were married 63 years and 6 months.

They had two children; Russell Clay and Kathy Lynn.

Bo worked for White Trucks in Oklahoma City for 22 years, Charles Padgett Motors in Seminole for 5 years, then Mike and Dick Bailey Motors in Henryetta for 19 years. He retired in 2009.

His favorite hobby was working on antique cars. He restored a 1929 Model A and was working on a 1926 Chevrolet Coupe.

He attended the Walnut Street Church of Christ in Seminole then The Pawnee Church of Christ after relocating.

Bo was preceded in death by his wife Winnie Ruth Yancey (Jackson), his son Russell Clay Yancey, his parents Lon and Lillie Yancey and siblings: Katherine Kay, Juanita Frasier, Junior Yancey, Vernon Yancey, Helen Earles, Don Yancey, Clint Yancey, Patricia Yancey.

He is survived by one sister Mary Allen, one brother Bob Yancey, his daughter Kathy Rosamond(Yancey), five grandsons, one granddaughter, four great grandsons and one great granddaughter. He loved his grandchildren very much.

Services will be held at Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole 9k. on Monday, March 16th 2020 at 10:00 a.m.
