Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at the PAC building located at Konawa High School under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Rev. Philip Mullins and Rev. Winston Curtis will officiate, and burial will follow at Konawa Cemetery.

Brandon graduated from Konawa High School in 1997, where he enjoyed playing football, track, and power-lifting. He taught school and coached for several years before working for Citizen Potawatomi Nation as the Director of Sod Farm Operations.

Brandon was the pastor the First Baptist Church in St. Louis, Oklahoma for six years. He accepted Jesus at the age of 21, and followed Jesus in believer’s baptism. Brandon served the Lord as a youth minister, deacon, and pastor for the rest of his life, leading many to a life in Christ.

He married the love of his life, Amanda Jane Mullins on March 18, 2000 in Konawa, and together they created their family. Second to serving the Lord, Brandon’s purpose in life was being a loving husband and father to his wife and two boys, leading his family in service to the Kingdom of God.

Those who knew Brandon never left a conversation without knowing he loved the Lord. With a bigger than life personality, he had the gift of humor, and made people laugh with his hilarious storytelling, providing them with the best medicine. His contagious smile left others smiling even on a bad day.

His hobbies included fishing, hunting, and creating videos aka: “Hunting With Squatch.” An avid fan of Konawa Tiger and OU football, he regularly attended games, cheering on the teams he loved. When he wasn’t attending games or chasing his kids, he enjoyed big get-togethers with his cousins, extended family and friends.

Brandon is survived by his wife of over 21 years, Amanda Leslie of the home: their two boys, Jacob and Jarod Leslie of the home: his mother Denice Leslie of Asher, OK; two brothers Robert Leslie and wife, Lindsey of Ada, Oklahoma, and Mike Humecky and wife, Jan of Bakersfield, California; four sisters, Deanna Sand Diego and husband, Mark of Bakersfield, California, Jessica Routon and husband, Scotty of Ada, Oklahoma, Maddie Stoddard and husband Jordan of Oklahoma City, and Darla Pybas and husband of Ada, Oklahoma, and a whole host of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and precious church family.
