Bobby Ray George was born July 18,1946 in Wewoka, OK and passed at his family home in Konawa, surrounded by family on October 31, 2020.

Bob was born to Roy L. George and Lahoma (Walker) George.

He served in the US Army during the Viet Nam War from 1967-1969 and was honorably discharged after being awarded the Nation Defense Service Medal; Vietnam Service Medal with one Bronze Star; and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.

He worked for many years for Brown and Root as a painter.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and infant son, Timothy .

He is survived by his siblings, Audie George, Frances Cully, James George and Edward George all of Konawa. He also leaves behind three children, Renee Billie of the home, Michael George , of Stilwell, and Elizabeth (Candy) Tilley of Wewoka, OK, and 11 grandchildren.

Services will be held at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel, Wewoka, OK.

Viewing will be Tuesday 1:00 PM to 8: 00 PM, Family visitation Wednesday 12:00 to 5:00 PM and Wake Wednesday 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Stout-Phillips Chapel.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Stout-Phillips Chapel with Rev. Richard Pickup and Newman Crow officiating with burial at Vamoosa Cemetery.
