Seminole resident, Billy Frank Hoskison, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024, in Seminole.

Billy, the son of Charles Henry and Izetta Marie (Hyatt) Hoskison, was born August 24, 1948, in Modesto, California. He graduated from Strother High School with the class of 1966. Billy proudly served in the US Air Force. On March 16, 1974, he married Linda Warden, in Yukon. He went to work at Tinker Air Force Base, where he worked for 30 years as a jet engine mechanic. Billy enjoyed listening to gospel music, tinkering on small engines, and using CB radios. He was also a collector of unique items, he loved his Boston terrier dogs, as well as watching OU sports and Thunder basketball, and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Bobby Hoskison.

Billy is survived by his wife, Linda, of the home; sons Billy Keith Hoskison, of Okmulgee, Greg Upton and Melissa, of Chandler, Scott Lee Hoskison and Wendy, of Tulsa, and Brent Hoskison and Jadee, of Seminole; a daughter, Andrea Faith Miller, of Seminole; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.

Services will be Monday, February 5, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Harvey Road Baptist Church in Seminole, with Wayne Stephens officiating and Larry Thoma assisting. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
