Billie Fern Moore passed away at her daughter’s home in Haileyville, Oklahoma on Sunday, October 4, 2020, at the age of 86 years.

Billie was the daughter of George Clay Robertson & Audrie Indianola (Pyle) Robertson, born on April 14, 1934 in Okemah, Oklahoma.

She was brought up in the old Butner community, and was a graduate of the old Butner High School.

She was married to W. F. ‘Bill’ Moore in Wewoka, Oklahoma on April 25, 1953, at the age of 19.

They made their home in the Wewoka and Cromwell area.

They owned and operated Diamond M Rodeo Company and Sports Arena in Cromwell, and furnished stock throughout the circuit and the National Finals Rodeo.

Bill & Billie were an integral part of the Butner School community, and helped form the Butner Booster Club. They traveled many miles following the various activities of their kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. In addition, Billie worked many years for Butner Schools, as a cook and as a bus driver. She loved caring for her home and enjoyed gardening, crocheting, coloring, and cooking, and she was well known for her delicious yeast rolls. Her family was the joy of her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clay & Indianola Robertson; five siblings: Patsy Knapp, Adolphine ‘Dot’ Heiskill, Charles Robertson, Frankie Lee Robertson, Nola Marie Robertson; son-in-law Gary Dove.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Bill Moore, of the home; three children: Connie Loman (Ronnie) of Haileyville, Teresa Dove of Haileyville, and Frank Moore (Donna) of Cromwell; nine grandchildren: Missie Burdick (Jade) of Davenport FL, Clif Loman (Lora) of Tahlequah, Chris Loman (Mandy) of Haileyville, Wil Loman (Shannan) of Haskell, Charles Dove (Sandra) of St. Croix, Virgin Islands, Justin Green (Whitney) of Seminole, Colt Moore, Ashley Green, and Taylor Moore, all of Cromwell; twenty-three great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren; her sister, Linda Marshall of Cape Coral FL and brother, Earl Robertson of Wewoka; nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be Friday, October 9, 2020, 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Cromwell, Little Cemetery, Little OK. Rev. Carl Whitfield is the officiating minister.

Pallbearers are Chris Loman, Colt Moore, Wil Loman, Justin Green, Jade Burdick, and Brandon Moore.

Honorary pallbearers are Lloyd Sanders, Calvin Loman, Rudy Brown, Tim Russell, Keith Russell, Steve Boucher, Danny Joe Boucher, Corey Yeubanks, Clint Yeubanks, Clay Yeubanks, Damon Sanders, Shane Marshall, and Darrin Marshall.

Viewing at the funeral home will be Wednesday, October 7, 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, October 8, 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. www.fisherfh.net
