Audie George Obituary

Audie Ann George, long time Konawa resident, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at her home, at the age of 74. Audie was born on September 5, 1947, in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Roy Luther George and Lillian Lahoma (Walker) George. She grew up in Sasakwa, Oklahoma graduated from Sasakwa School. She later graduated from Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, Kansas. She lived in Konawa for the remainder of her life.

Audie is survived by her two brothers, James and Edward George plus many other family and friends.

Audie was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Lahoma George; brother, Bobby George and sister, Frances Cully.

Viewing will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma. Pastor Bruce Sanders and Pastor Earl Hood will be officiating. Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
