Alfred Dean Calvert, 52 years old, of Wewoka Oklahoma passed away on Saturday August 28, 2021 in Wewoka, Oklahoma

Dean Calvert was born in Seminole, Ok on November 5, 1968 to Jimmy and Saundra Calvert.

Dean graduated from Wewoka High School in 1987. After graduation, like many young men in Oklahoma, he went to work in the oil field.

Growing up, Dean spent many summers at Eufaula lake with family and friends. Lake life fueled a love of the water, fishing and late night trout lining with brothers and cousins.

Dean played football for the Wewoka tigers and was a big fan of OU football. He enjoyed cars and music and played several Instruments. Laughter followed him where ever he went. Dean loved people and people loved Dean. He was blessed with many lifelong friends. He will be sorely missed.

Dean is survived by his father, Jimmy Calvert, brother, Gary and wife Kris Calvert, brother, Terry and wife Debby Calvert, aunt and uncle Larry and Marsha Sawyer, David and Joyce Calvert, Johnny and Carolyn Trimble. He was uncle Dean to 8 nieces and nephews.

Dean was preceded in death by his mother, Saundra Calvert, Brother, Kevin Calvert, grandparents, Luis and Lois McDaniel, A. D. and Gladys Calvert and uncle and aunt Lloyd and Glenda Scroggins.

Dean shared his last years with partner, Carrie Shivers.

Funeral service will be Wednesday 10:30 AM, September 1, 2021 at Stout-Phillips Chapel, with Pastor Tommy Azlin officiating and burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Pall bearers will be Jim Bo Calvert, Chris McDaniel, Mike Pierce, Rusty Smith, Steve Bollinger and Larry Scroggins.

Honorary pall bearers will be Dewayne Streater, Steven Calvert, Stephen Calvert, Terry Julian, and Gaylen Lindeman.
