Adrian Loyd Hester, 81, lifelong Seminole County resident, passed from this life on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at his home. Adrian was born September 9, 1942 in Seminole County to Vernard Hester and Lena (King) Hester. Adrian attended public schools at Strothers Public School and graduated from Strothers High School in 1960, and on November 26, 1961 he joined the Unted States Air Force and served as a E-3 until his discharge on November 26, 1965.

Adrian married Ann (Hook) Hester on June 14, 1963 in Seminole County. Adrian enjoyed raising and taking care of his horses and cattle and planting his garden and especially loved watching his okra grow, Adrian was an insurance agent for Farmers Insurance Group for over 30 years with his offices in Prague, Oklahoma.

Adrian is survived by his loving wife, Ann Hester, of 60 plus years of Seminole, his son and daughter- in-law Adam and Nikki Hester of Meeker, Oklahoma his half-brother Allen and half-sisters; Freda, Kay, his grandchildren whom he dearly loved; Aaron Hester and his wife Savanna, Colby Hester, Ty Hester and his wife Kristin, Kaitlyn Hester and Wyatt Hester, his great grandchildren Emma Joy, Layla and Lydia.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Vernard and Lena Hester, his son Captain Adrian Allen Hester who served his country in the United States Army, two brothers and his sister.

The family would like to thank the Elara Hospice for their excellent care given to Adrian.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Heath Sapp officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery with Military honors.

Casket bearers will be his grandchildren; Aaron Hester, Colby Hester, Ty Hester, Kaitlyn Hester, Wyatt Hester and his son Adam Hester.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
