Abilene Fletcher

Abilene Fletcher age 87, passed away, Wednesday, December 7, 2022 in Edmond, OK. She was born October 5, 1935 in Sasakwa, OK to the late Benny Coon and Ella (Davis) Coon.

She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Benjamin Coon, Bundy (Poucho) Coon, Steve Coon, and Pauline Carpitcher.

Abilene is survived by her children Michael “Mike” Fletcher of Chicago, IL, Edward Fletcher of Denver, CO, 2 granddaughters of Phoenix, AZ, siblings, John Coon of Seminole, OK, Thomas Coon of Konawa, OK, Joe Coon of Konawa, OK, Wallace Coon of Wewoka, OK Lee McNeal of Phoenix, AZ, Edmond Coon of Detroit, MI, Sarney Coon of Riverside, CA, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Wake service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Spring Baptist Church in Sasakwa, OK.

Funeral service will be held at 1:30 P.M., Monday, December 12, 2022 at Spring Baptist Church in Sasakwa, OK with Pastor Frank Moppin officiating, assisting him will be Pastor Lary Factor. Interment to follow at Spring Baptist Cemetery in Sasakwa, OK.
