Seminole sports fans will get to see their first live football action of the new 1971 season Saturday night a Chieftain Stadium when the Chandler Lions and the Seminole Chieftains tangle in a pre-season scrimmage. Action will kick-off at 8 p.m.

Admission to the contest is one bath towel per person. The towels will be given to the Chieftain team to use after showers. A box will be located near the main gate for the towels to be placed in Saturday.

This week the Chieftains have been practicing twice a day in pads and full football gear. They have been running offensive and defensive plays in getting ready for the scrimmage and the fast approaching season.

Although a score is not kept, a scrimmage is good for telling how far a team has progressed and what areas still need to be worked upon before the season begins, Chieftain Coach Jim Webb said.
