Twelve Arrested in ‘Operation Wewoka Switch’
Twelve drug-related arrests have been made in “Operation Wewoka Switch,” District Attorney Paul Smith announced this week.
Between July 2020 and September 2020, the District 22 Drug and Violent Crime Task Force, along with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs and the Wewoka Police Department, conducted an in-depth investigation into methamphetamine distribution in and around the Wewoka area.
According to Smith, the investigation resulted in the seizure of approximately 130 grams of methamphetamine, four firearms and multiple items of paraphernalia. The Task Force also made referrals to child welfare investigators for five drug-endangered children, Smith said.
The District 22 Task Force, United States Marshal’s Service, Wewoka Police Department and Seminole County Sheriff’s Office conducted arrest operations for the individuals through the middle of March 2021.
Those arrested include Roland Chad Nunnelley, age 40; Kenneth Ray Rocha, age 42; James Wayne Coles, age 40; Isreal Debronza Huntley, age 29; Jennifer Nicole Kinney-Pattison, age 39; Keith Randale Blanton, age 36; Bryant Leon Jones, age 44; Deambri Shalia Beavers, age 32; Sara Jessica Kionute, age 26; Steven Terrell Jones, age 38; James Wayne Coles, age 40 and Johnathan Brandon Coles, age 36.
Investigators are attempting to locate another five outstanding individuals related to the cases. Smith reminded that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
