Tommy Alvin Ranells, 60, passed away peacefully at home on November 29, 2022.

He was born October 18, 1962, in Seminole, Oklahoma. When he became a teenager, he moved to Sasakwa. After graduating from Sasakwa High School in 1980, he broke out into the oilfield with Jerry Scott Drilling, then went on to Bodard and Hale as a chain man for many years before finally finding his niche in the oilfield at Compressor Dynamics and Hanover Compression. He was a member of the Eufaula Mason Lodge and a proud Native American member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma. He loved traveling, riding his Harley Davidson, gardening, wine making, tinkering in his Man Cave, and raising cattle.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Birdwell Copley; father, T.A. Ranells; and brother, Fred Ranells, who died in 1961; and

many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is survived by his wife of the home; son Tommy Lee Ranells of Muskogee, Ok; granddaughter C-Aira Shelby Lee Ranells, whom he Loved Dearly, of Haileyville, Ok; sisters Sheila McCracken of Maud, Ok and Cindy Jarvis of Guthrie, Ok; and many other friends and relatives.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 17th at 3:00 p.m. at the Nash Wood Cemetery near Konawa Lake.
