Last week students and faculty gathered outside to cheer on our Whippets and Lady Whippets as they made their way to the basketball state tournament. Students wore festive green accessories as well as their “run as one” basketball shirts as they waved goodbye to both teams and wished them luck!

The Lady Whippets made it to the semifinals at the state tournament and the Whippets are the 2021 State Tournament Champions. Everyone at Varnum Public Schools would like to say congratulations to the Whippets and Lady Whippets on a fantastic season! You’ve worked hard and we are extremely proud of you!
