Zach Self and family received a special gift from Varnum Schools before Saturday night’s game against Sasakwa. The gift was presented to the family in honor of Zach’s wife, Hailey, who passed away January 4. The family was also presented with $850 from a 50/50 draw sponsored by the Varnum Booster Club. Saturday night’s theme was “Purple Out,” and everyone was encouraged to wear purple to the game, which was dedicated to the memory of Hailey.
