Future doctors and health care practitioners enjoyed an extraordinary opportunity to discover their passions through hands-on medical experience at NYLF Medicine Camp. Camp attendees have to be nominated by a school official for an invite. Seminole High School student, Trinity McFadden (pictured left) attended NYLF camp in Los Angeles, California. She was one of two Oklahoma students in attendance. Over nine days close to UCLA’s campus, she experienced the collegiate lifestyle firsthand, learned from doctors, participated in an interactive curriculum led by advisors, visited UCLA’s medical school, tested her medical knowledge during clinical skills rotations, and explored professional opportunities in the everexpanding fields of medicine and health care.
