Seminole Public School District hereby announces that the school election for Seat #5 on the Seminole Public Schools Board of Education has been rescheduled from April 7, 2020 until June 30, 2020.

This change in dates is the result of an emergency declared by the Oklahoma Election Board Secretary as a concern for the current status of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The change in the date of the election is the only change to be recognized for this election.

The Seminole Board of Education approved a Resolution with the revised election date during a Special Meeting on March 19.

In addition, Precinct Number 670020 and Precinct Number 670035 of Seminole County will be closed. Absentee ballots will be printed to accommodate voters in the part of the precinct located inside the school district.
