Seminole Nation Higher Ed Visits with Local Schools

Even in the midst of the world shutting down, due to the Corona virus, pretty much everything came to a halt. On January 3, 2021, the Seminole Nation Higher Education reopened their office, only by appointment only, due to social distancing.

Seminole Nation Higher Education staff, Clara Keawphalouk (Director), and Delois Harjo (Administrative Assistant) starting making visits to some local schools to inform the Seminole Nation tribal members who will be graduating in May 2021 about the Seminole Nation BIA Scholarship.

Schools that have contacted SNHED to schedule a visit is as follows: Konawa High School, students in attendance were Malachi Tebe and Solomon Coon. Shawnee High School, students in attendance were Mackenzie Clements, Angel Reyes, Hannah Kessner, Kyndal Jenkins, T-Anna Lena, Izayah Roundtree and Lionardo Silva.
