“The Seminole Chamber of Commerce is excited about our biggest ‘Made in Oklahoma Festival’ yet!” exclaims Amy Britt, Seminole Chamber of Commerce CEO. “There will be over 175 vendors and other downtown businesses, Seminole Arts Council autism awareness car show, OBI blood drive, Seminole Humane Society pet adoption, and a Seminole Cornhole tournament.”

With over 175 vendors scheduled to be there, as well as local downtown merchants opening for the special occasion, it is a safe bet to say there will definitely be something for everybody!

While it would take too long to mention each and every vendor, everyone should plan on staying all day so they have an opportunity to check them all out. Vendors representing Made in Oklahoma products will include wineries, business, and food.

Fortunately, there will be plenty of food vendors selling meals, so no one will have to leave for a lunch break. They will instead face the challenge of which food to choose to munch on while they continue enjoying the event.

In addition to the vendors, festival visitors can also enjoy the “Shining a Light on Autism Auto Show and Contest,” sponsored by the Seminole Arts Council, which will fill the 100 block of South Main Street with an impressive gathering of vehicles. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and judging will take place at 3 p.m.

In keeping with the autism awareness theme , Joey Perry will be signing copies of his book, “I Have A Reason; An Autistic Perspective on Bullying,” at the Seminole Public Library, located at the corner of Main and Seminole.

The Seminole Animal Shelter and the Seminole Humane Society will be hosting a pet adoption from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and they encourage anyone thinking about adopting a pet and providing a loving animal with a forever home to stop by and learn more.

The Oklahoma Blood Institute will have their Mobile Bus Unit on location from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and they strongly encourage everyone that is eligible to donate blood to please do so. The OBI provides every drop of blood needed by patients in 150 medical facilities across the state.
