Right: Teagan Cain, a junior at Wewoka High School, recently competed at the State Science Fair in Stillwater Oklahoma. Her project, pictured above, was titled, “Afterglow - A Study of Temperatures’ Effect on Luminol Activity.” At the two-day competition she was required to stand by her project for several hours and answer questions from a wide variety of judges. She placed 3rd and also received a special award called the American Chemical Society Award of Merit which was accompanied by a $50 check.
