SASAKWA SCHOOL MISSION STATEMENT
It is the mission of Sasakwa Public Schools to provide lifelong skills in the development of critical thinking, reasoning, reading, writing, speaking, computing, technological skills, problem solving, and human relationship social skills. Realizing that each student has different interests and abilities, the school commits itself to encouraging each student to develop these capabilities to help him or her become an independent, productive member of our American Society. These goals are accomplished through a balanced curriculum that has been constructed to meet the needs of the individual, this particular community, and the requirements of the State Department of Education.

WHERE WE ARE:
Sasakwa School is a fully accredited school. Our learner exit outcomes are designed to meet community expectations and state competency levels.
We accomplish these outcomes through a variety of core classes and electives; through competency based testing and promotion; use of new facilities (including a networked computer center). These factors contribute to our school producing improved performers, thinkers and overall producers in our community.
WHERE WE WANT TO BE:
Sasakwa School wants to continue to be a fully accredited school with competency scores and levels above the state and national average to continually improve and expand our curriculum, facilities and staff in order to reach these goals.
HOW WE GET THERE:
We wish to reach our goals and expectations by continuing to employ the best possible staff members and providing staff development training programs to improve teaching skills in an ever-changing environment. We must continue to provide for and update facilities, instructional materials, equipment and curriculum to provide for overall improvement.
PROGRESS TOWARD GOAL:
Sasakwa School will assess and monitor all curriculum areas annually to make sure we are current in our instruction. We will assess and monitor class grading patterns, test scores, changes that are successful and non-successful and we will conduct in-depth studies of core curriculum areas based on the timeline devised by our school for improvement.
