Safran Ventilation Systems Announces Appointment of New General Manager

Posted in:

Safran Ventilation Systems Oklahoma, formerly Enviro Systems, Inc., has named a new general manager.

Michael Rigalle, a native of France, arrived in Seminole about two weeks ago from the United Kingdom, where he served as Vice President of Industrial Strategy then Managing Director of Safran Nacelle.

This is the second time for Rigalle to call Oklahoma “home.” He lived and worked in the Tulsa area for about 6 years. In fact, his wife of 10 years, Lela is from Oklahoma. Rigalle said he spent a total of 11 years working in the United States.

“I’m very excited to be back in Oklahoma,” Rigalle said. “My wife and children are still in the U.K., but they will be here at the end of May.”

Rigalle said one of his main priorities for the Seminole plant is to complete the integration of Enviro and Safran.

“That process needs to continue; it’s just some thing the company has to go through,” Rigalle said. “But there are a lot of opportunities to grow here. We’re in good shape and have a lot of potential. The mindset of our team is very good.”

The Seminole operation employs approximately 190 people and has maintained a strong community presence over the years, something Rigalle wants to continue.

“I want our relationship with the community to continue. It’s a win-win situation,” Rigalle said. “I’m happy to be a part of it.”

Safran Ventilation Systems designs and manufactures environmental control systems for aircraft. Its product line includes bleed air valves, outflow valves, vapor cycle air conditioning components and more. There are approximately 190 employees at the Seminole location.
