Regional Champs
The Seminole State College men’s basketball team is headed to the NJCAA National Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas. The Trojans clinched the Region II championship and a ticket to nationals after defeating Western Oklahoma State College 102-82 on Saturday. SSC will face Ranger College of Texas at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March
21, at Hutchinson Sports Arena. It is the first time since 2007 that the SSC program has qualified for the national tournament. The public is invited to a send-off for the team as they leave for Kansas on Sunday, March 19, at 1 p.m. behind the Raymond Harber Field House on the SSC campus.
