Online Auction of Surplus Wildlife Commission Items Underway
Bidding is underway in an online auction of Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation surplus vehicles, tractors, boats and other equipment. Potential bidders can see the list of auction items and photos online at https://www.purplewave. com/auction/230425.
Details about each item are provided in the online listing. A contact person who can answer additional questions is listed for select items.
“While vehicles are always the most popular item among bidders, this auction has a wide selection of tractors, boats and other equipment,” said Daniel Griffith, property manager for the Wildlife Department. “Agency vehicles undergo scheduled maintenance from the time we get them new to the time we sell them.
“The sale of these items helps bring funds back into the agency to purchase new vehicles and equipment, and to fund projects. So, by purchasing one of these items, you are also supporting the Wildlife Department.”
Bidding windows for each item will begin closing at 10 a.m. CDT Tuesday, April 25.
Bidders must register with the online auction site before bidding. A 10 percent seller’s premium will be added to all winning bids to arrive at the final price. Other auction details, terms and conditions are found on the auction website.
Items are sold to the highest bidder as-is, where-is. Vehicles currently in Oklahoma City will be available for inspection from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, April 24, at the Department’s headquarters, 1801 N Lincoln Blvd.
