Oklahoma State Department of Health Situation Update

Seminole County has seen the total number of recoveries from coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the county rise by one in the latest report from the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH). Countywide, there are now 21 confirmed positive cases, two deaths and 17 recoveries.

The new recovery was reported in the city of Seminole. Seminole has a total of 10 confirmed cases, including one death and eight recoveries. Wewoka has seen eight positive cases and seven recoveries; Konawa has two cases, one death, and one recovery; and Sasakwa has reported one confirmed positive case and one recovery.

The OSDH has issued the following situation update about COVID-19 in Oklahoma:

As of this advisory, there are 5,086 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in Oklahoma.

There is one additional death; it occurred in the past 24 hours: One in Washington County, a female in the 65 and older age group.

There are 285 total deaths in the state.

Today’s weekly Epidemiology and Surveillance Report will include data on antibody testing in the state. Reports from weeks past can be found under the “News” tab on the OSDH website.

COVID-19 testing sites are open in multiple cities in Oklahoma as a result of a cross-county, city and state health system partnership. Visit the “Testing Sites” tab on the OSDH website for updated dates and locations.
