Oklahoma Man Wins Luck for Life Lottery
For Jeremiah of Bristow, winning the Lucky for Life® top prize of $1,000 a day for life is a dream come true. Jeremiah joined the Oklahoma Lottery’s Millionaire’s Club and is now the state’s 65th millionaire.
Jeremiah stopped at Coop’s Stop N Shop in Bristow on December 3rd and bought a Lucky for Life® ticket for just $2, which he does a couple of times a month. Little did he know his life was about to change! He matched all five white balls and the Lucky Ball®, making him the top prize winner of $1,000 a day for life, which is a guaranteed $5.75 million payout.
When he checked his numbers on the Oklahoma Lottery website he couldn’t believe what he was seeing, so he called the Lottery office. After being read the winning numbers by Shelby Owen in Oklahoma Lottery claims, he was stunned: “Um, I think I matched those,” he said. Shelby
was equally stunned, and another Oklahoma Lottery millionaire was made.
Even when he was handed his check from the Oklahoma Lottery he said it still hadn’t sunk in that not only had he won, but he won millions of dollars. Jeremiah plans to use his newfound wealth to pay off some debt and to buy himself a new sports car.
Jeremiah’s prize makes him the 65th Oklahoma Lottery winner of $1 million or more. Amazingly, Oklahoma’s 66th millionaire was created just 48 hours later when the winning ticket for Lotto America’s $3.5 million Jackpot was sold in Woodward, OK.
Net proceeds of all Lottery games are used to support improvements and enhancements for Oklahoma education. Since the Lottery’s inception, more than $1.02 billion has been contributed to education. For more information about the Oklahoma Lottery, please visit www.lottery.ok.gov.
