Motorcycle Crash Leaves Seminole Man With Injuries

A Seminole man was injured when the motorcycle he was riding crossed paths with an automobile Tuesday afternoon, according to a report released by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The report states that Kevin Bane, 54, was riding a 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on State Highway 9. At approximately 4:06 p.m. Bane was attempting to turn northbound into a private drive west of County Road 3600 when he struck a 2006 Ford Explorer driven by Charmane Barrett, 42, of Seminole.

Bane was transported by Air Evac to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, where he was admitted in stable condition with head, trunk internal, trunk external, arm and leg injuries. Barrett was uninjured.

The report states the condition of both drivers appeared to be normal. The cause of the accident was listed as failure to yield.
