The case of a missing Seminole County resident has been turned over to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) after local efforts have been unable to locate the young man.

Toby Calvert, 38, was last seen at approximately 3:53 a.m. on May 22, 2022. He is described as an American Indian, 5 foot 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds and had brown hair and hazel eyes. He was wearing an orange hoodie, blue jeans, and a camo backpack the last time he was seen.

Based on information they received, the Sheriff’s office, along with the Chickasaw Nation Lighthorse Police Water Rescue and Dive Team, Chickasaw Nation Emergency Management, and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol spent two days checking the South Canadian River utilizing drones, K9s, boats and foot searching for Calvert. Unfortunately, they were unable to locate him.

In a June 9 Facebook post Toby’s parent reached out for help in locating their son. “Attention to everyone our son Toby Calvert is still missing,” the post begins. “It’s been 21 days with no one hearing from him or seeing him. His whole family is worried about him. He is a son, a brother to seven siblings that the little ones are asking where their brother is. We are on our knees begging anyone that knows where our son is would come forward and say something.

We miss you son.”
