Medical Condition Causes Collision

On December 24, at 7:05 p.m., a personal injury accident collision occurred approximately 8.25 miles east of Seminole, in Seminole County.

Nicole Lamoureux, age 29, of Seminole, Ok. was driving a 2007 Ford Escape Southbound on NS3640 Road. Lamoureux felt dizzy and the vehicle departed the roadway to the left, striking a tree.

Lamoureux was transported by AirEvac to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City for multiple injuries. The condition of the driver was dizzy/faint. The cause of the collision was medical. Seatbelt was equipped and in use. Airbags were equipped and deployed in the front. The weather was dry and clear. The roadway was dirt. The driver was extracted by the Deputy Sheriff using his hands.

The collision was investigated by Trooper Dion Wild #732 of the Seminole County detachment of Troop D. He was assisted by Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, Seminole Nation Lighthorse Police Department, Cromwell Fire Department and Wewoka Fire Department. “This report is based upon the Trooper’s investigation of this collision. It may contain the opinion of the Trooper.”
