A local walking track will be closed on Monday and Tuesday morning of next week for repairs, the City of Seminole announced yesterday.

“We will be closing the Magnolia Creek (Wellness Center) Walking track from the low water crossing near the ballfields and all the way around the lake on Monday and Tuesday, September 27th and 28 ^th from 4 a.m. until noon for resurfacing. This will extend the life of this great walking feature,” city officials said in a statement.

Walkers are asked to refrain from using the area until the sealing is complete and the surface is dry. The Reynolds Wellness Center indoor walk track will be available at no charge from 5 a.m. until noon on both days for those in the community who normally walk the outside track. The Wellness Center is located at 1001 East Strother Avenue.
