Library Gets Rockin’ For a Good Cause

Posted in:

If you like good food, good music and supporting good causes, mark your calendar for Friday night, June 18.

Local rock band EverFade has been tapped to provide entertainment for the Seminole Public Library’s “FUNd Fest,” which will help the library out with purchasing books, programs and more.

According to Library Director Jeanette Kennedy, there will be food trucks on hand and a gift basket from the Seminole Downtown Merchants will be raffled off during the show. In addition, silent auction items will be on display at the library and open for bid the evening of the concert.

“Be sure to come early and check out the food trucks and the raffle items,” Kennedy said. “This is going to be a great evening, all for a good cause.”

The concert is slated to begin at 7 p.m. in the Shark Park, located at 125 N. Second Street in Seminole (just behind Exotic Meds on Broadway). General admission tickets are available at the library and will also be sold at the gate. VIP tickets are available at Seminole Discount Wine and Spirits. VIP seating is limited, and only stamped tickets are valid. Those purchasing general admission tickets must provide their own chairs.

Everfade features a laser light show in their performances and plays a variety of rock covers and original songs. The band’s lineup consists of Richard Jasna (bass/vocals), Shane Loudon (drums/vocals), Susan Buck Sneed (keyboards/vocals) and Floyd Snider, Jr. (guitar/vocals).
