Seminole’s American Legion Post 204 is honoring Onis Croce with a special flag at Veteran’s Park in downtown Seminole. This flag began flying March 1, 2021 and will remain for the entire month of March.

Onis Wallace Croce, was born May 24, 1934 in Bald Hill, Oklahoma (near Okmulgee, Oklahoma) to parents George Leroy Croce and Effie Mae (Cunningham) Croce.

Croce joined the United States Navy when he was 17 years old, serving our country during the Korean War. In the Navy, he earned the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Medal and the National Defense Medal.
