Seminole High School Lady Chieftains finished their basketball season before the coronavirus cancelled the rest of the school year.

In February the Lady Chieftains made it to the District Conference Play in Cleveland, Oklahoma and in Tulsa.

The Lady Chieftains made it to the second round but fell short against Bethany.

The Lady Chieftains finished the season with a record of 10-14 in Class 4A.

Two Lady Chieftains made All Conference and three made Honorable Mention.

Lady Chieftains Katyanna Andrews and Holli Ladd made All Conference.

Kaylyn Cotner, Kennedy Coker and Makayla Harge made Honorable Mention.

Throughout the season freshman Holli Ladd averaged 17 points per game.

Junior Katyanna Andrews averaged 15 points per game.

Senior Makayla Harge averaged 9 rebounds per game.

Sophomore Kennedy Coker averaged 7 assists per game.

Sophomore Kaylyn Cotner averaged 6 blocks per game.

The Seminole Lady Chieftains fought hard all season long and made the coaches proud as well as the fans.

“The Lady Chieftains will have four starters returning for next year’s season” stated Coach Charles Kemp.
