Heritage House to Reopen Doors July 6
The Heritage House will open its doors on July 6, after one year of being closed, the City of Seminole announced this week.
Heritage House is an extraordinary place for senior citizens to go and enjoy their day. They can learn about nutrition, eat lunch, play games and make friends along with other activities Heritage House offers. They often invite organizations inside to provide different activities or provide information about help and support senior citizens can receive. For example, a band plays every Thursday for participants to hear.
The city has a bus that offers rides to those that may want to go to Heritage House, but do not have their own transportation. The bus also makes food deliveries to several homes to provide free meals. The bus continued to run its route to deliver food over the past year during the pandemic.
To register for Heritage House’s Opening on July 6 please call Site Manager Michelle Badgett at 405- 382-2156. They will have games, music, and a band will provide entertainment. Snacks and lunch will be provided.
