Hammer Time
Left, former Seminole resident Eric Malone (pictured at left) and Jerry Anson of Seminole show off a hammerhead shark caught off Harbor Island, South Carolina. Malone, the son of Jim Malone, Seminole, is now a resident of East Grand Forks, Minnesota. Hammerheads are found worldwide in warmer waters along coastlines and continental shelves. Unlike most sharks, some hammerhead species usually swim in schools during the day, becoming solitary hunters at night. —Courtesy photo
