Heavy machinery busts up the concrete at the corner of Milt Phillips and Broadway to clear the way for new sidewalks in the area. The project entails sidewalks along Broadway beginning at Jefferson and ending at 8th Street. Construction began Feb. 15 and is expected to take over 200 days to complete, weather permitting.
