GuRuStu Communities Sets the Date for Public Engagement Session
GuRuStu Communities, on behalf of the Seminole Public School District, will be hosting its first public engagement session via Zoom on January 14, at 6:00 pm. During the meeting, which GuRuStu communities has dubbed a “virtual townhall,” members of the Seminole community will be presented with the proposed plans for their old high school building, which was purchased by the real estate development company over the summer. They will also be granted the opportunity to voice any ideas, thoughts, or concerns related to the building’s renovation into an apartment complex.
Some of the matters which are expected to be discussed during the meeting are: the availability of parking during game days, the preservation and use of the auditorium, and the types and sizes of the finished units. “The most important thing is to gauge people’s interest and approval in the project,” affirmed Stuart McDaniel, head of GuRuStu Communities. “We want to come back with a stamp of approval from the community.”
