FBI Searches for Suspect Caught on Camera Robbing Paden Bank at Gunpoint
PADEN, Okla. — FBI officials are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person caught on camera during a bank robbery Friday afternoon in Paden.
Shortly before 2 p.m., the suspect entered the Banc-First in the 400 block of Ninth Street, where FBI officials said he made a verbal demand for money while brandishing a firearm. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of money and fled the bank in a newer-model, white Jeep Cherokee.
No injuries were reported. The man is described as an African American with a thin build, standing between 5 feet, 5 inches and 5 feet, 8 inches tall and having brown eyes. FBI officials also said the man was wearing dark, baggy jeans, a dark hooded jacket, a medical-style mask and a dark ball cap with a white Fox Racing logo.
The man also has a tattoo on his right inside forearm, but they did not release a description of the tattoo.
The Oklahoma Bankers Association is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the suspect’s arrest. Anyone with information is asked to contact the FBI at 405-290- 7770 or submit a tip online.
