This corrects a story that appeared in the Jan. 29 edition of the Seminole Producer.

According to the Seminole County Election Board, the only election on Feb. 14 will be for City of Seminole Mayor.

The only school board election will be on April 4, when Strother School District voters will choose between two (not three) candidates – Tami J. Shelton and Dustin Hogue.

Butner Public Schools will NOT have a candidate race this year.

The deadline for candidates to withdraw from the April 4 race is February 10 at 5 p.m. The deadline to turn resolutions in for the April 4 election is Thursday, Feb. 2.
