Due to the rise in numbers of COVID cases in the local community, Bowlegs Public Schools will move in-person instruction back to January 11 ^th . Online learning will begin on January 5 ^th . The school is hoping this will allow time for recovery of any potential exposures during the break and lesson the risk of positive cases at the school when everyone returns to in-person learning.

Teachers will be at school starting next week as originally planned and be available to help with daily instruction either by phone or on Google Classroom. The bus routes will run on Wednesday and be stopping at all regular stops in order to pick-up any 1 st semester packets that have not been turned in and drop-off packets for the new semester to those on the packet system. Meals will be dropped for the entire week at each stop also.

Bus routes will start two hours later than normal and will be working their way through each stop. Making the stops may take a little longer than usual. These stops will be done on January 6 th so be watching for the bus to come by. The school is doing everything they can to serve and protect the children.
