Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Taylor have announced the marriage of their daughter, Miss Mable Ruth, to Mr. Leslie F. Wood, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Wood. The bride is a student at Bowlegs High School and plans to complete her education. Mr. Wood graduated from Bowlegs and attended the Seminole Junior College.

Mr. and Mrs. George Dawson entertained at a family dinner Sunday when their guests were Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Anderson and son, Mr. and Mrs. Gulles Dawson and son, Happy Dawson.

Mrs. J.W. Forister, entertained with a happy children’s party for her daughter, Ruth. Those present were Owen Melton, Letha Ford, Virginia Spencer, Doyle Ford, Marion and Louella White, Dorothy and Catherine Hickman, Betty Lou O’Mars and Marvin Beckwith.

Meeting of the athletic committee for the purpose of discussing possible formation of a Seminole baseball team this summer probably will be held Friday. Roy Maxedon and Price Chase, only members yet appointed, will name three more men to serve on the committee with them.

It was reported from Oklahoma City that spurred by accusation of delay by Governor E. W. Marland, the 15th legislature worked today to push through an emergency revenue program. The house prepared to take up the drastic 1 to 12 per cent administration income tax bill with hopes of final passage tomorrow, faced with the governor’s charge that the bill has been changed so that it will raise little new revenue.

Seminole Federated Music Club made plans for the fourth in a series of benefit bridge parties at the meeting held in the home of Mrs. O.D. Johns. The affair will be held in the home of Mrs. J.A. Hamilton with assistant hostesses, Mrs. Watson H. Bettes, Mrs. Baxter Spurr, Mrs. Joe Wilson and Mrs. Orlando Blackburn.

Onawa Club members completed arrangements for their annual St. Patrick’s benefit bridge party when they met in the home of Mrs. A. 0. Jernigan. Following roll call, a program on interior decoration was presented by Mrs. C.L. Quillen and Mrs. H.E. Munsey. Refreshments were served to Mrs. C.D. Lemley, Mrs. C.C. Shultz, Mrs. Creed Cater, Mrs. F.E. Wagner, Mrs. M.W. Satterlee and Mrs. L.L. Snider.
