Donald E. Smith bringing in an enrolling schedule for Seminole schools to be announced Sunday…Reba Davis being glad that this is the last week of summer school at Seminole Junior College…”I need a vacation,” she says…

At noon today in Seminole the temperature was 77 degrees after a low Wednesday night of 68, the local station of the National Weather Service reported. High temperature Wednesday was 87 degrees.

Gov. David Hall today announced the start of a $1 million a year program to fight alcoholism in Oklahoma.

The police department here had threatened the Holdenville city council to strike Sunday if their demand for the hiring of another officer to ease their workload is not met.
