Gideons’ dog, Lizzie, having a special liking for watermelons…And friends report that the dog pulled the Gideons’ prize melon recently…
Oklahoma was among the first eight states to comply fully with guidelines of the Democratic National Committee which were designed to broaden grassroots participation, party officials said Monday.

Police today reported that some construction equipment belonging to Wayne Phillips and being used in Dixon Heights was vandalized either early Monday evening or Monday night. Police said it appeared that small children, judging from footprints in fresh cement, were the ones who tore electrical wires loose on the equipment.
