Partly cloudy with scattered thunderstorms mainly central and west this afternoon and tonight. Partly cloudy to fair Saturday, warmer west. Lows tonight 70s. High Saturday 92 east to 102 west.

A private showing of the new Seminole Junior College building, located at the northwest corner of Highway 9 and Highway 3, was held Thursday night for a number of individuals who had gone out of their way to help the college. College administration and faculty personnel were hosts of the showing.

Some 3,500 Oklahomans, including men from both the Seminole and Wewoka units of National Guard, will say goodbye to their families tomorrow morning (Saturday) as the first major organization of Oklahoma’s Army National Guard goes to summer camp for two weeks.

The Nixon administration conceded Thursday that the goals it set forth in January for the economy’s performance and for a sharp drop in inflation and unemployment this year now are beyond its reach.

Oilman John M. Houchin of Bartlesville will head a $2.3 million fund drive to help pay for a multipurpose sports arena proposed for the University of Oklahoma.
