A middle-aged Seminole woman, Mrs. Opal Williams, residing on West Broadway, was in fair condition in St. Anthony’s hospital in Oklahoma City after being struck by lightning in the yard of her home about 7:50 p.m. Monday.
The woman suffered burns on her back and legs, an attending physician said.
Prospects for additional rainfall dwindled in most sections of Oklahoma today, but forecasters said warm, humid weather would remain the next few days.
Scattered thundershowers were forecast only for the extreme southeast this afternoon and tonight.
