Chief South Vietnamese negotiator Pham Dang Lam officially informed Hanoi delegates at the Paris peace talks today of arrangements for the release of 570 North Vietnamese prisoners held in the south.

The announcement, implying that North Vietnam had finally admitted to having troops in South Vietnam, stirred a glimmer of hope among more than 100 relatives of captured or missing U.S. serviceman maintaining a vigil outside the conference hall.

A caravan of cars will leave Pat’s café at 7 a.m. Saturday to visit neighboring towns in the interest of publicizing the Seminole Roundup club’s rodeo which will begin Thursday, June 3 and end on Saturday, June 5. All interested persons are invited to join the caravan for the trip, A. L. Johnson rodeo chairman, announced today.

Vacation Bible school at First Baptist church is now underway, Mr. Russell Vicars, church choir and music director, announced. It will continue daily from 1:30-4 p.m.

Army Captain Grayson D. Roulston, son of Mrs. Lessie N. Roulston, of Sasakwa, recently received the distinguished flying cross near Tay Ninh, Vietnam.

He earned the award for Heroism in action while engaged in aerial flight in connection with military operations against a hostile force in Vietnam. Congress established the medal in 1926 after warfare in the air was proven to be a reliable tactic in World War I.

February WSCS group was convened in the home of Mrs. Jimmie Lynn Austin for its May program. A luncheon highlighted the event.

Sonic scored 7 runs while holding the Seminole Drillers to no runs Monday night at Oiler Park in the summer season opening game of the Pony League (13-14 year olds).
