Plans are continuing for the reunion of Seminole high school graduating class of ’51, Miss Charline Brown, coordinating chairman announced Saturday. All but four of the 111 graduates have been located and Miss Brown is still trying to learn of their whereabouts.
The annual Woodrow Wilson Elementary School Awards Assembly was held in the school auditorium Friday morning with a capacity audience of parents and other adults as well as students in attendance. Miss Kathy Mendenhall, a sixth grade student in the home room of Mrs. Hattie Johns and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth D. Mendenhall of 1003 McKinley was the mistress of ceremonies.

Those attending the Forum luncheon next Thursday noon at the Harvest House will have an opportunity to meet and hear the new highway commissioner for District 4, H.E. (Gene) Rainbolt of Shawnee, Ted Phillips, program chairman for the Forum, announced Saturday.
Twenty-two drivers have been fined in the Traffic Division of the Seminole County District Court on charges of speeding. These speeding fines assessed by Judge Walter Billingsley were either $25, $35, or $40, depending upon the speed above the legal maximum.

The outcome of the vote on the formation of a vocational technical school district composed of parts of Seminole and Hughes counties and all of Pontotoc and Coal counties was a bit uncertain Saturday but apparently the proposal will squeak through despite negative votes in Konawa, Holdenville and Coal County.
