There have been many things happen this year at Seminole Junior College and to record what has happened over the year in words and with pictures the Seminole Junior College Yearbook Staff announced this morning that the “Trojan 1970-71” yearbooks are now on sale. The “Trojan 1970-71” can be purchased at the Dean’s office of the college.
This is first yearbook to be put out by the college in the school’s history. Dean of students, Don Gill, is the faculty adviser of the yearbook staff.
The “Trojan 1970-71” is selling for $5.00 a copy and a limited supply of 300 copies are available. Students, parents and other interested citizens in the college area may buy the yearbook on a first come, first serve basis.

Seminole firemen have answered four alarms in the past three days. Shortly before 7 a.m. today they were called on East Strothers street to douse a fire in a car belonging to Robert Hilton. The fire was caused by a backfire, and the wiring around the motor was damaged, a fire department spokesman said.
Tuesday firemen were called two miles south of Earlsboro to the W.R. Dockery place where a grass fire of unknown origin was finally controlled after burning over about five acres of grass and woodland.
Monday a run was made to a Redco lease four miles north and two west where a cutting torch had set fire to a patch of dead grass. The burned grass was the only loss. Later a run was made to the alley behind the Earl Collier Furniture Co., 306 North Main, where some junk furniture and trash had caught fire from an unknown source. Only loss was the items which were on fire, firemen said.
