Demos Re-Elect County Officers
By unanimous vote, Bryce Hill of New Lima was elected democratic county chairman Saturday in Wewoka in the district courtroom which was well — filled. There were 36 voting delegates. Hill had been appointed chairman by the state election board when the elected chairman had moved for the county.
Mrs. R.M. (Ruby) Lovelady of Seminole, by unanimous vote, was re-elected county co-chairman and Julius Rice of Wewoka was chosen county secretary-treasurer.

Seminar On Retail Thefts Is Thursday
A special seminar or workshop for managers of businesses and their employees on the general topic of Controlling Retail Thefts will be held Thursday night, March 4, starting at 7 in the Municipal Auditorium under the sponsorship of the Chamber of Commerce, Bob Clausing, chamber president, announced Saturday.
This program, Clausing said, is designed to help business by examining some of the critical problems and offering solutions to the control of shoplifting and bad check losses.
Ted Phillips, chairman of the Chamber’s Relations Committee, will preside over the meeting. Richard L. Long, representing the Small Business Administration, will present the program.

Boren Releases Results Of His Questionnaire
State Representative David Boren of Seminole on Saturday released the results of a questionnaire which he published in the Seminole Producer and the Wewoka Daily Times on Sunday, February 21.
Citizens were asked to clip the questionnaire and mail it to Representative Boren at the State Capitol. Boren said that thus far he had received 296 questionnaires representing replies from 440 people. He explained that many questionnaires were signed by both husband and wife or by co-workers.
Telemobile Coming To Seminole
Innovation will be the theme and “Alexander Idea” will be the host of Telemobile, Southwestern Bell’s free allnew mobile exhibit, which will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the parking lot of the Gibson Discount Center on West Strothers street on Wednesday, March 3, Homer Swafford, manager of the Seminole office of Southwestern Bell, Said Saturday.
Visitors to Telemobile will be hosted through the exhibits by local telephone people and by “Alex,” an amusing little puppet character who seems to know it all when it comes to new ideas in communications.
